Make way for possibly the cutest and most hilarious film of all time. It’s all about the little, yellow guys in Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s teaser poster which has just been released!
The poster is for the Despicable Me spin-off movie “Minions,” which will tell the story of where everyone’s favourite helpers came from. The film is an origin story of the minions who have been around since the beginning of time, evolving from yellow single-cell organisms into beings with one sole purpose: to assist the most ambitious villains.
Gru is recruited by an organization to stop Scarlet Overkill, a super-villain who, alongside her inventor husband Herb, hatches a plot to take over the world.
The ultimate super-villain of the 1960s, Scarlett Overkill will be voiced by none other than Sandra Bullock. Jonn Hamm will be the voice of Herb Overkill and Steve Carell is back as the voice of loveable baddie Gru.
10th July 2015 is the day ‘Minions’ will be showing at a cinema near you.
