As most people already know, a shocking video of Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik in Peru has been leaked online earlier this week.
The video shows the two One Direction stars bragging about a rolled up cigarette they were smoking while they were touring in Peru. The video in which Louis refers to the cigarette as a “joint”, has caused mass controversy since it surfaced and many Directioners have expressed their anger and disappointment at the thought that their idols may have been using drugs.

Apparently, One Direction want to find out how the video got leaked to the press and have put their lawyers on the case.
According to The Mirror, a source close to the boys told them: “The boys insist the footage has been stolen from them and are not happy.
“They want to get the video removed and to draw a line under the incident and move on.”
In a statement earlier this week, the band’s spokesperson also confirmed: “The matter is now in the hands of our lawyers.”
The boys kept quiet about the whole controversy during their Sunderland’s Stadium Of Light gig which took place the night after the video was leaked. Band-mate Liam Payne, however, asked someone to help him “restore the sanity” via a tweet before the concert.
And just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse for the teenage heartthrobs, the footage has also caused controversy as allegedly Louis could be heard using a shortened racist word.
Oh dear. Could this be the fall of the biggest boyband in the world? Or it is just one big misunderstanding?
