Simon Cowell signs Bars and Melody to Syco!

Britain’s Got Talent finalists Bars and Melody have been signed to Simon Cowell’s record label SYCO.

The duo, made up of 15 year old Charlie Lenehan and 13 year old Leondre Devries came third in the ITV talent show and will release their debut single ‘Hope’ next month.

Bars and Melody rose to fame after Simon Cowell pressed his golden buzzer for the act in their first audition.  ‘Hope’ is a Twista song featuring Faith Evans for which Leondre wrote anti-bullying lyrics.

The song has already been a massive hit all over the world, gaining over 33 million hits on YouTube.

Charlie said:

“It’s a dream come true.”

A show insider also explained: “Simon was surprised the boys only came third. “He’s going to see how the single goes, but thinks they have a very rosy future.”
