Next year, T in The Park will be moving to a new site, the organisers confirmed yesterday.
The music festival, which has taken place in Balado near Kinross for the past 18 years, will be moving to Strathallan Castle in Perthshire from 2015.
T in The Park is Scotland’s biggest annual music event, attracting a total of over 85,000 people over the 3 days.
The organisers said:
“We’re absolutely thrilled to announce Strathallan Castle as our new home.
”We’ve had 18 tremendous years at Balado but now we’re moving onto pastures new – this time with a castle overlooking the site!
“The landscape is stunning and it has a fantastic natural amphitheatre which will lend itself beautifully for the main stage.
“Obviously we’re sad to leave Kinross… However, we’re very excited about this new chapter of T in the Park’s journey”.
