Singer Ed Sheeran has achieved the fastest selling album of 2014 with his new album ‘x’.
182,000 copies were sold in the last seven days, overtaking Coldplay’s new album ‘Ghost Stories’.
Coming second in this weeks album chart was Sam Smith with his album ‘In The Lonely Hour’, followed by Lana Del Rey with ‘Ultraviolence’ coming third.
‘The A Team’ singer performed at Glastonbury festival, which also saw performances from Lilly Allen, Dolly Parton and Metallica.
Ed’s new album ‘x’ was the follow up to his first album titled ‘+’ and the singer admitted at an interview during Glastonbury festival that he thought the second album may not do as well and it can either pursue or end your career.
