Ratings for Strictly Come Dancing on BBC One and The X Factor on ITV last night have eventually been announced this afternoon.
The X Factor drew in (last night) 7.6 million viewers between its timeslot 7:30pm to 10pm on ITV when 16 contestants (including the wild card contestants) performed on their first live show for a place in the next round.
While the winners of the ratings last night Strictly Come Dancing pulled in 8.7 million viewers in their timeslot on BBC One from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
