The X Factor 2014 live shows continue next weekend but what can we expect from the second live show?
We can reveal that it is time for the contestants to bring out the leg warmers, strap on the shoulder pads and belt out a power ballad as The X Factor embraces the music of the 80s as the theme for the second live show. We’re expecting a mix of big power ballads and few iconic songs that will get us on our feet, dancing around our living rooms!
Dermot O’Leary presides over proceedings, while judges and mentors Louis Walsh, Mel B, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Simon Cowell take their seats behind the judges’ desk to battle it out with their contestants. After the departure of two of Louis’s acts on Sunday nights show, it is evident that he will be wanting to impress with his two final groups, Only The Young and Stereo Kicks. As the competition hots up and the standard gets higher there is sure to be drama and disagreements between the judges.
The excitement will be taken to another level on Sunday night’s show as an outstanding line-up of guest stars will perform. On the X Factor stage this week will be musical goddess Jessie J, and musical legends Maroon 5 will be performing.
The X Factor continues next weekend on ITV with the second live show. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite contestant in our polls section on the home page.
