The G20 conference will be hosted in Brisbane, near to the shows filming location, at the same time as the new series of I’m A Celebrity starts. This could mean that the helicopter flights around the camp  will be banned.

7,000 police are expected to be on guard as the world’s leaders gather down under later this month.

The hotels used by the celebs before entering and once they leave are also in the so-called ‘security zone’, which will be protected during the conference.

“The whole of Brisbane is going to be on lock down when we are flying the celebrities in and that has created a lot of uncertainty,” a show source told The Sun on Sunday today. “But the one thing that it could very well affect is the parachute jumps, which are scheduled for the same day the G20 is to begin.

“We’ve no idea if we’ll be able to film in a helicopter. We may not know until the day itself.”

The new series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here will start later this month.
