The latest contestant to be voted off The X Factor Paul Akister has admitted how he felt after being booted off.
In an interview with Good Morning Britain, the 25 year old admitted that he knew that he was going to go:
“I actually knew… in the morning when we go to the studio and we do rehearsals I actually had a feeling, I was like, I’m definitely going tonight. It’s weird because Jack had the same thing – you just get a feeling.”
After losing out to Jay James on Sunday night, Paul and his mentor Mel B were very emotional on stage, Paul explained:
“I was pretty angry and literally couldn’t stop crying.”
Akister also told Sarah Jane Crawford on The Xtra Factor that the reason he left may have been down to his ‘true vocals’;
“It could be I haven’t showcased my true vocals on the show but you never know, I don’t know.”
“I’m just gutted it’s ended now.”
