Tumble has been axed by BBC One after the first series did not manage to have as much success as hoped.
The celebrity gymnastics show, which was hosted by Alex Jones picked up an average of 3.3 million viewers across its six episodes.
A spokesperson for the programme said: “Whilst we are proud of Tumble and very grateful to everyone involved, we sometimes have to take difficult decisions in order to make room for new shows,”
A source from the BBC also insisted that Alex Jones is ‘very important’ to the channel.
The first series, which was aired in August and September this year was won by CBBC actor Bobby Lockwood. Celebrities who also took part in the competition were Sarah Harding, John Partridge and H from Steps.
